Joni Luke, IRP

Joni received her Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Indiana University – Bloomington. She subsequently obtained a Certificate in Paralegal Studies from Ivy Tech Community College and is an Indiana Registered Paralegal through the Indiana State Bar Association. Joni began her legal career in 2010 as a legal intern through the Ivy Tech Paralegal Studies program, where she received her first training and background in litigation and law firm management.

Joni joined Beckman Lawson in 2013, and currently works as a litigation and family law paralegal, providing support for Attorneys Brian C. Heck and Heidi K. Koeneman. Joni enjoys the fast-paced nature of litigation, as well as the daily contact with clients in family law work. Joni solves problems on a daily basis for our family law clients, and helps with their initial intakes, discovery, scheduling, and every step in between in the difficult process of a divorce or a custody battle.

Joni is a member of the Northeast Indiana Paralegal Association and an affiliate member of the Allen County Bar Association and the Indiana State Bar Association.

Joni was born and raised in Fort Wayne, and currently resides in Auburn with her husband and three crazy dogs: Zola, Fetty and Lucille. She enjoys spending her free time with her three bonus children, traveling, reading, cycling, and kayaking.
