experience
As a seasoned labor and employment lawyer, Wendy is well versed in all areas of legal and regulatory compliance including FMLA, ADA, harassment, progressive discipline, ERISA, other benefits issues, and all types of employment litigation for large and small employers. She also represents numerous health care organizations and physician practices.
In addition to her private law practice, Wendy is a part-time deputy prosecutor for Fort Wayne and Allen County. This role builds on her experience as an assistant D.A. in Texas where she prosecuted criminals including homicide and gang-related cases. Wendy has completed more than 130 jury trials and is just as comfortable in a court room as she is talking strategy with a client.
Wendy is a popular guest speaker and received the Northeast Indiana Women in Leadership Award in 2006.
She is a member of the Allen County, Indiana State, Texas State and American Bar Associations.
