In the last few years, Gary has
- Won a labor arbitration for a major mid-western city avoiding potential liability in excess of $1 million over 3 years. Involved interpretation of a complicated provision in a collective bargaining agreement.
- Implemented an aggressive grass roots campaign to defeat a union’s year-long attempt to organize more than 600 employees at a major hospital system.
- Developed comprehensive human resource systems and policies for a new division of a multi-national corporation making its first U.S. entry.
- Successfully defended dozens of employers accused of discrimination or harassment before administrative agencies and in the federal courts
Gary represents a wide range of business from heavy industry, such as steel manufacturers and automotive suppliers, to health-care providers, print shops, boat makers and food producers. He has represented and advised clients in more than a dozen U.S. states and Canada.
Gary is a member of the Allen County, Indiana State and American Bar Associations.

When he’s not practicing as a lawyer or chasing his two ornery sons, Gary regularly donates time and talent as a rock musician to charitable and non-profit events. He is also active in economic development activities in Allen and surrounding counties to attract and retain new businesses.
