As the featured keynote speaker at IPFW's recent initiation of Phi Kappa Phi members, John Brandt used the podium to encourage and inspire students to give back to their communities.  He promoted the practical and the altruistic benefits of community service, summarized in this quote from Churchill, "We make a living by what we get, we make a life by what we give."

 

Fifty-six students were inducted into Phi Kappa Phi, the oldest, largest and most selective all-discipline academic honor society.
