Beckman Lawson lawyers regularly help people resolve personal injury claims, from multi-million dollar settlements to smaller but equally important claims. We have litigated cases in state and federal court throughout Indiana and Ohio.
With experience in prosecuting and defending personal injury claims, we offer an objective view that maximizes your chances of a fair resolution at the earliest stages of a case.
In the event a case cannot be resolved, we are skilled litigators who can take your case to trial or even appeal. We also help resolve subrogation claims resulting from repayment of medical bills, disability and workers compensation pay.
Much of our success stems from being timely, aggressive and responsive. We’ve learned that the sooner we are involved, the better chance we have of preserving and presenting a compelling case. For this reason, we help clients preserve evidence and aggressively investigate the case just as soon as we’re engaged.
What, exactly, is personal injury?
We consider personal injury law to include anything from wrongful death to injuries caused by a wide variety of circumstances. For more detail, see our FAQ. We also assist clients who’ve been injured at work through the workers’ compensation process. While we do not handle claims of medical malpractice directly with the Indiana Patient Compensation Fund, we regularly help clients obtain legal counsel for these claims and often remain involved in an oversight capacity.
How are your fees structured?
Beckman Lawson’s size and personal approach allows us to offer flexible fee arrangements that base payment by the hour or by our success in resolving your case.
Our contingency fee is one-third of anything recovered with regard to the claim. If we don’t recover something, you don’t owe an attorney fee. We regularly advance claim-related expenses, including filing fees and costs to secure medical records. These expenses are exclusive of the attorney fee arrangement and are typically reimbursed to us at the conclusion of the claim.
