His first career as a land use planner gives him a special understanding of the balance between public and private interests. He understands master plans from the inside out, making it easier to navigate complicated waters and help clients accomplish goals. We’ve written the book on real estate transactions – literally. Attorney Jack Lawson has authored a two-volume work used as a reference manual by many Indiana real estate attorneys. He also helped draft original Indiana statutes regarding land use planning. This intimate understanding is still regularly leveraged at the firm today as lawyers frequently deal with zoning matters.
Successes	Recently obtained approval of several significant area real estate developments including: Villas at Summit Reserve, a 68-unit condominium project The Villas of Park Place, a 107 lot residential development Lima Road Crossing, a 40-acre commercial development. Conversion of 86-unit apartment complex to condominiums. Successfully defended zoning regulations for the Town of Zionsville in several matters of litigation. Regularly handle numerous commercial real estate transactions and lender's opinion letters.
