Ed enjoys solving legal problems by using his drafting, negotiating and litigation skills. He provides business support services to agricultural, banking, construction, commercial and manufacturing enterprises. Ed represents businesses of every size – from local sole proprietors to International Fortune 500 companies. Before joining Beckman Lawson, Ed owned his own law firm for about 25 years.
Ed is married to Linda and has three stepsons and nine grandchildren. He was raised in New York’s Capital District, educated at Siena College, B.A. (1980) and Albany Law School of Union University, J.D. (1983). Before he started practicing Law in Fort Wayne, Ed served as a Captain in the U.S. Army’s Judge Advocate General’s Corps. (1984-1988).
Ed enjoys playing his trumpet in a local community band with his wife, who plays French horn. For more than fifty years, trumpet playing has given him the opportunity to be creative. Ed also enjoys music, theatre, golf, cats and dogs and spending time with his family. Ed has served on the board of directors for PBS 39, the Fort Wayne Civic Theatre and business groups.
