Gary advises clients in all areas of employment and labor law, including union negotiations, arbitrations, NLRB proceedings, wages, employment discrimination and harassment, FMLA, employee handbooks, and employee discipline and discharge. Gary has represented employers in state and federal courts, before the NLRB, DOL, EEOC, and various other employment agencies. Gary is known for his responsiveness and his ability to communicate complex subjects in a straightforward and understandable way.

Gary represents a wide range of clients, including steel producers, manufacturers, health-care providers, municipalities, print shops, agribusiness, construction companies, commercial bakeries, and food producers. He has represented and advised clients in over twenty U.S. states and Canada. Although Gary’s primary expertise is employment and labor law, many longtime clients seek Gary’s advice on a wide range of legal issues because of his common sense and down to earth approach to resolving problems.

Gary is the firm’s managing partner and a recognized leader in his field. He has been recognized repeatedly by Best Lawyers in America and Super Lawyers for his work in management labor and employment law. Gary also has a Distinguished rating from Martindale- Hubbell. He is a member of the Allen County and Indiana State Bar Associations.
