We are deeply saddened to share the passing of Jack W. Lawson, a founding member of Beckman Lawson, on August 26, 2025, at the age of 89. Born on September 23, 1935, Jack dedicated his life to the law, to his family, and to his faith. He built a remarkable career in real estate, corporate, environmental, and healthcare law, earning repeated recognition in Best Lawyers in America and authoring Lawson on Indiana Real Estate Transactions, a resource still relied upon by attorneys across Indiana.

But Jack’s legacy is far greater than his professional achievements. He was a mentor, a teacher, and a steady hand to countless colleagues over the years. His generosity of spirit, warmth, and integrity left an indelible mark on the lives of those who had the privilege of working alongside him.

Jack will be remembered not only as a brilliant lawyer but as a man of character, compassion, and unwavering faith. His example continues to guide us, and his presence will be deeply missed.
